The Night

I just got back from the bookstore. Ah, I always feel better when I come back from there. Although, my eyes are all screwed up so I can't read much or they'll start to burn.

I always wonder how people make up these amazing stories. Being a writer myself, I can understand how these other world's and all these things, though, I myself am still learning and could never come up with those types of things. Not yet at least. The things that fasinate me the most are mangas. Not only do you have to be have the gift of writing, but an amazing artist as well. Two incredible skills at the same time. Unfortuanatly, while I'm blessed with the gift of writing, I'm cursed with probabaly the worst artistic skills in the world. Honestly, I can't even draw a stick figure right.

I truely love mangas. It goes from reading a simple book and trying to imagine these things in your mind to SEEING how these things played out. SEEING how the characters are suposed to look like, how these battles play out, EVERYTHING. It's one step closer to another world I guess.

It's the same with movies. I think that that's the same with every single person. As people get older, belief in fantasy completely goes out the window. But of course! People believe what they see and hear and what they think they know as truth. Then, why are books and movies so popular? I believe that ALL people, whether they realize it or not, are looking for some other world. People try to look for fantasy and those things that they believed in as a child and, for that few hours, perhaps they do. Take the Avatar movie for example. People watch that movie and see this whole new world and they can truely beleive that it exists. A true beautiful world, not without its dangers, but with a gorgous, beautiful underlaying of truth. It's something we all dream of, whether we realize or not.

Ah, but all things and whatnot. That's something to discuss in another post. Over the course of these posts, I'll really get into these fantasy things. Different veiws, different dreams, different worlds. Who knows, perhaps I'll find a missing pieces to this impossible puzzle. (Though I doubt anyone will ever read this... *sigh*)

That's all for the night. Though other creatures may live in the night, unfortunatly I am still human and require sleep. I think my internal clock is always programmed to click off at midnight.

Goodnight World
