Shadows
The darkness calls to me. Most fear the dark, staying within their harsh light. Their light burns me to the touch, blinds me. No one can see me within the darkness. It is my world and mine only. The shadows cover me like a cocoon, whispering soft words in my ears. Who needs those being of light? I have the darkness.
Soulmate
They say there is a soulmate for every person. An eternal love that's made just for you, only for you. But how do you find this person? In a world of millions, billions even, how do you find just ONE person? How can I ever find love? If there's a soulmate for everyone, where's mine?

Dream 3
I dreamed that there was someone after me. I managed to get away but it was a trap and there was a car accident with me in it. After that it was a little fuzzy. It was as if I was in a different world, nothing but whiteness. I was all alone, laying in nothingness. Then this boy appeared. He seemed so familar but I can't remember his face. He lay next to me and told me everything was going to be okay. I remember feeling so warm and peaceful and, in that moment, everything was perfect. Then I woke up. Dang it...

Silence
The night is so quiet. A thousands lives fall into a temporary death, freezing the world in place. There are no sounds but the whisp of the wind as it searches through the earth. I find peace here. In this dark, shadowy, silent world, I can truely be allow. It is my world only. Such peace...

Burning Eyes
My eyes burn like flames. Each blinks brings more pain that's more then I care bare. Sleep is the only cure and yet it never comes to me. It's nearly impossible to see out of tear-streaming eyes. I can barely even see the keys as I type. Why was cursed like this? When my one passion and dream in life is the one thing that causes me to suffer the most, making my vision burst into flames. How long will it be before I become truely blind and will never be able to write again?
Fear.......I fear it.
Fear.......I fear it.
Imaginary World
I live in an imaginary world. Secluded in a small, inescapable box. Always alonein a box. I can see a vision of a small girl sitting in the darkness with only a tiny stream of light as company. I need not food nor drink nor sleep. But I conjure up things from my own fantasies. Creatures of myths, beings that exist only in my mind. I hold out a hand and feel a fairy land on my fingertips.
Why can't my dream world become real?
Why can't my dream world become real?

Dreams and Wings
Ah, I have so many dreams. Countless thoughts spinning and weaving in my head to come up with beautiful worlds and mystial fantasties. But, above them all, is the dream to fly. To feel powerful muscles connecting to my shoulder blades, hearing the whisper of feathers in the wind in my ears, to feel the win din my face, dancing in my hair. To fly on soft, beautiful wings... Ah... What it must feel like. What wonder it would be like. My greatest dream... I'll never stop wishing.

The Worm and the Bird
It's funny how some things can make you think os different things. A simple song, a woven art of notes and spin and whisper words that influence a mind. A song that can make you cry, a song that can make you laugh, a song that can make you feel strong. They're all out there. And there are those that make you think. It's not just a normal thing, but something different. The one in my mind speaks of the madness of the mind. Because all humans have madness, no matter how big or small. It makes us different, unique, mayhap strong as well. Because, is madness really a bad thing? Madness... ah, sweet darkness of the world. Perhaps. Perhaps. Who knows? Time can tell what no lips can utter. The madness of one canchange the world of millions.
*hums* crawls like a worm... crawls like a worm from a bird... XD

Masks
It's strange, if you think about it. What's the real you? What's the real me? I've covered my face with so many masks, I can no longer remember who the real me is anymore. I've forgotten everything. What's the point? I've covered my soul, my spirit, my mind... It's all darkness that I can't get out of. I've become so numb. I can't feel anything anymore. Who am I?
He's gone...
He's gone... He's finally gone... They took him away. I'm all alone now. No one cares. These tears on my face don't stop. This emptiness inside of me can't be filled. What am I suposed to do? What am I suposed to do??? I don't even know anymore. Everything just seems worthless. What's the point? I just want to wither away... into the darkness where noone can see.

Dreams 2
Every time I get up the courage to watch an R rated movie, I get a dream that explains exactly why I DON'T whath them. I dreampt I was a person being chased by a dead spirit. During a fight, my mind kept flashing back to a pair of bones, a woman clinging onto a small child, that were deep underwater. The woman was actually me and the child was the spirit trying to kill me. As we fought, the bones started to fall apart, being torn apart by the tides. It was... bad.
But then things changed into something I see more in my waking dreams then my sleeping ones. There was this small village of tents and I kept walking through it, dressed in a black cloak with a hood covering my face. There were these... rolled up balls of mud and grass and such with large sticks sticking in them. If they had less then three sticks, and someone pulled one out, then that person was sucked into a black protal. I escaped the place with three other people. The scene changed and we were in these white ruins that had black curtains hung up at odd points on the wall. Placed randomly everywhere were signs that said NOT to do something. Two strangers had come with us and deliberatly went against what the signs said not to do and looked behind the curtains. It was like a black portal. They were sucked in and taken to the Underworld. These black hands reached from the protals and tried to take the people I had saved but I held them back. The hands were Death and I said that it had no dominion over that place. Death laughed at me and said my power was fading and that I couldn't deny my Fate. Then I woke up.
Hmmmm gives me all kinds of ideas....

A Speck of Hope
How fraglie the human heart is. How easily broken it can become. And yet, how easily healed it can become. It the blackest of nights and the coldest of sorrow, there is always that small speck of light in the distance that calls itself hope. Sometimes we cannot see it, but it's still there. And when we do chance a glimpse of it, we chase it with all our might. We might never reach it, but it's still that light in the darkness and it will always be there in our hearts.

Sadness and Sorrow
Sometimes I hate life. This sick, twisted thing that I have to live. Because no one else can understand someone else's mind. No one can fully understand how they think. Understand the things that are TRUELY important to a person. Something that might seem igsignificant to one person is the most presious thing in the world to another. Something very dear is being taken away from me. It's being stolen by those who see it as a mear 'toy.' And, of course, no one listens to a child. If you are under 21 then your imput doesn't even matter. You don't know anything. The 'adults' can do whatever they please. After all, what on earth are you going to do to them? They're high above you and have some magical 'athority' over you. And so, I must lose my most presious thing because I cannot fight back. Do I really have to hang my head in submission? Isn't there something I can do? I'm just an insignificant human child how must bow under this invisible power. God I hate it.
Such a cruel and horrid world.

Fear
I fear for my dreams... It's the one uncertainty that we can have no control over. No one can control their dreams. I fear nightmares. Horrible sights and sounds that I cannot escape. Will it be a wonderful dream? Or a horrible nightmare? I fear sleep, not knowing the answer. But I must sleep. We all must sleep. We pray for glorious dreams and flee from nightmares. Until the first rays of pale sunlight creep over the horizen and pull us from our dreams into the real world. Or... perhaps it's the other way around...

Vampires
There's been countless upon countless of speculations of vampires, esspecially nowadays. The Twlight series launched the stories of vampires into another realm. They are probabaly the most popular of all mythical creatures today.
To define a vampire is a very hard thing. As I have not met an actual vampire, I cannot truely say what is fact or not. Older stories show vampires as blood-sucking mosters that are spawns of the devil and altogether evil. It is not until earier times such as now where vampires are shown in a different light, not as mosters, but only beings that are perhaps not very different from humans.
I'll start with the similarites. ALL stories agree on one thing: vampires live off of blood. It's the defining thing of a vampire. Now, there are stories, such as Cirque Du Freak, that say vampires also can eat human foo, but the basis of blood is always there. It's the 'lifeforce' persay. If one would actually think about it, it almost sounds repulsive. Drinking BLOOD? If you saw someone you knew, a family member perhaps, bite someone's arm and started drinking their blood, what on earth would you think?? You'd probabaly run! While reading and seeing these vampire stories, it's easy to forget that fact, but most people would find it sickening. However, think of this. I don't think many people realize it. Blood is the absolute foundation of a human body. It carries your life. Literally. Without it, humans would cease to exist. Period. We need blood to live. So it's VERY symbolic. A vampire feeds on the life-force of a human to sustain their own life. So, in thinking about that, a vampire cannot sustain a life-force of their own, and so must find someone who can, namely humans. Blood is the life of all things and vampires feed on blood. They feed to continue their own lives.
Besides drinking blood, the stories vary dramatically. MOST include sunlight. Vampires, for one reason or another, cannot go out in the sunlight. If you take in consideration another part of these stories, it would perhaps make a lot of sense. Nearly every vampire story tells of extordiary abilities they have. Super speed, strength, senses, etc. So, if one had super sense and stepped out into the sunlight, it would be excruciating! The glare of the sun would be double, triple, ten times what we humans see. Another thing that might contribute to the sunlight stories is simply the fact of trying to stay hidden. Out of every single mythical creature, the vampire is one of the most nutorious for being hunted down. Vampire hunters. ESSPECIALLY in older days. People would train their ENTIRE lives, commited to hunting down these 'demons.' And so, if you were a vampire and being hunted like this, I don't really think you'd go around walking in the daylight. The cover of night is always the best hiding place.
From here the stories muddle. When hearing how to kill a vampire you get a hundred different answers. The all popular stake through the heart, holy water, crosses, cutting the head off, ripping them to peices, or some say that just a bullet can do the job. In this issue, I cannot offer much insight since I do not know. I do believe that vampires are incredibly stronger, faster, and and better physically then humans in every way. While I do not know, to kill a vampire can be NO easy task. But as I said, I've never met one so I can't say for sure. And even if I did, I have absolutely no desire to kill them so I wouldn't mind not knowing.
Most of the older stories(when I mean older, I mean like 1800s and such) say vampires are demons that come from hell and slaughter all in their path. I do not agree with this in any sense whatsoever. Think of it this way. Lions are a common thing people know of. Everyone knows what a lion is. The hunt and eat meat, live in the savanna, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. Now, every once in a while, there's a story of rouge lions that aquire a taste of human blood. They attack villages and kill dozens of people. This might continue for a while before eventually humans win and the lion is killed. Now, after this lion has killed dozens of people, lions are not labeled as demons and every one of them is hunted down! So... why not? What is it different then a lion hunting, killing, and eating humans and a vampire drinking blood? Now, whether vampires kill humans, I do not know. Again, I have not met one, so I can't say. Whether they kill the human or simply just drink a little, who can say. So, where's the difference? Don't humans have serial killers? Is every human hunted down and killed because one went 'crazy'? Why not? Because it's not their fault. So if vampires do/did exist and there was a small group of them and one turned into a serial killer, why would the whole group be hunted down? Was it thier fault? Should we kill the entire family and all the friends of a serial killer? NO! That's rediculous! Everyone knows it's not their fault. Why is the entire name of 'vampire' stained? Those who were right in their minds and stayed hidden were never known about. The only ones that humans saw were the killers who came out of hidding.
There are many more things I could write about but, if I continued, this would be an insanly long post(if it isn't already). No doubt I'll have more to add later in time. Vampires will always hold the highest amount of respect from me. Among all mythical things, they are the one I wish the most that I could meet. But yes, who would trust a human? *sigh* Who knows. The future is not written in stone. Perhaps. Perhaps.
Well, this is all for now. I bid thee all farewell. Sorry for such the long post. Tomarrow I'll do write some more on those who dwell in the realm in the mystical.
Goodnight world.

Dreams
I wonder what's the point of dreams. I'm sure there's some strange scientific explaination or whatnot, but there's always a sense of mystery around them. Close your eyes, fall asleep, and go off into some world that doesn't exist.
I dreamt of a another time and place where people could trasform into any living thing they wished but they had one true form. We were being chased but a great eagle that attacked us over and over again, wounding me badly. But we were saved when the spirit of a river revealed himself and chased away the attacker. I wonder what my true form would have been...
Perhaps dreams are the closest we humans could ever get to real magic.

The Night
I just got back from the bookstore. Ah, I always feel better when I come back from there. Although, my eyes are all screwed up so I can't read much or they'll start to burn.
I always wonder how people make up these amazing stories. Being a writer myself, I can understand how these other world's and all these things, though, I myself am still learning and could never come up with those types of things. Not yet at least. The things that fasinate me the most are mangas. Not only do you have to be have the gift of writing, but an amazing artist as well. Two incredible skills at the same time. Unfortuanatly, while I'm blessed with the gift of writing, I'm cursed with probabaly the worst artistic skills in the world. Honestly, I can't even draw a stick figure right.
I truely love mangas. It goes from reading a simple book and trying to imagine these things in your mind to SEEING how these things played out. SEEING how the characters are suposed to look like, how these battles play out, EVERYTHING. It's one step closer to another world I guess.
It's the same with movies. I think that that's the same with every single person. As people get older, belief in fantasy completely goes out the window. But of course! People believe what they see and hear and what they think they know as truth. Then, why are books and movies so popular? I believe that ALL people, whether they realize it or not, are looking for some other world. People try to look for fantasy and those things that they believed in as a child and, for that few hours, perhaps they do. Take the Avatar movie for example. People watch that movie and see this whole new world and they can truely beleive that it exists. A true beautiful world, not without its dangers, but with a gorgous, beautiful underlaying of truth. It's something we all dream of, whether we realize or not.
Ah, but all things and whatnot. That's something to discuss in another post. Over the course of these posts, I'll really get into these fantasy things. Different veiws, different dreams, different worlds. Who knows, perhaps I'll find a missing pieces to this impossible puzzle. (Though I doubt anyone will ever read this... *sigh*)
That's all for the night. Though other creatures may live in the night, unfortunatly I am still human and require sleep. I think my internal clock is always programmed to click off at midnight.

Where I Stand
Not much happened today. I got classes on Tuesday's and Thursday's so that's always fun! Uhg... not. Yea, but who likes school anyways. I'd get into more on that but no one wants to hear me ramble on about school.
Since nothing interesting had happened in life today, I'll take a moment to explain my position. I probably should have done this in the first post but hey. It's a little long, I appologize, but these are my thoughts. Here's how I see it:
Everywhere you turn, there's myths and legends (or more popular, fantasy books and all that). For thousands of years, there have been stories of mystical creatures that defy the norm that we know today. But are they just stories? I don't believe so. As far as I know, there's no PROOF for anything. But that doesn't really mean anything. The way I see it, if there's great magical creatures out there, they aren't just gonna pop up and be like "Oh hey! Look at me!"
Hundreds of hundreds of years ago, before there was any fancy traveling of planes and cars and whatnot, people on totally different CONTINENTS somehow all came up with the same stories. Take dragons for example, there's the Chinese dragon, Eropean dragon, another type of dragon in the Americas, and even another type in Africa. All of these show the same type of creature but thousands of miles apart! There was no way all these people were in contact with each other. So how on earth did they come up with this one singlur creature that we call a dragon? Simple. They must have SEEN one.
And that's my dream. To somehow find something, ANYTHING really, of the mystical world. Now, I will say this now and lay it down. I am not stupid. I don't go around messing with things I shouldn't be messing with. I don't go around doing rituals or spells or charms or whatnot. I don't mess with forces that I don't understand. I do not and never will mess around with witchcrafy or any of that stuff. I believe that there are creatures, beings, whatever you want to call them, that can use this stuff we call "magic" as a part of themselves. Just like we use arms or legs or a bird uses wings to fly or a fish has gills to breathe underwater. Just like a cheetah has the natural ability to run at incredibly fast speeds, so might something like a vampire be able to run at amazing speeds. I think it's a natural ability, not whitchcraft or dealing with demons or whatnot.
I supose many people would think this is weird. I am a grown person and yet I believe in things that most people toss away as fairy tales at age 6. Who knows. It's my one and greatest dream.
But I'm not ignarent. I understand what it would be like. Esspecially with recent movies such as Twilight, most girls are like "Oh! I want to be a vampire and get a smexy vampire boyfriend!" *rolls eyes* I KNOW things would NOT be that easy. No matter what goes on, whether it be vampire, werewolf, or anything else for that matter, SOMETHING is hunting you. It is NOT an easy life to remain hidden and alive. I do not knowing that feeling so perhaps I am a little ignarent in wishing for these things, but at least I understand it. Take a vampire for example. The most common beilf (which I will explore in more depth later on) is that vampires live either forever or a remarkable long period of time, drink blood, either cannot die or can only be killed certain ways, and have amazing abilites. People always think "living forever, yes!" But has anyone really thought about it? It must be an incredibly lonley thing. Everyone you meet or know will die in a heartbeat to you if you live forever. You'll be forced to move around for the rest of eternity, never able to stay in the same place because if someone recognizes your eternal life/youth, they will hunt you. Anything you dream of doing, having a family, becoming some great celebraty of a singer or actor or athlete, it's impossible! After just ten years (maybe!) people will get suspisious. You wouldn't be able to do a thing. And there are hunters as well. It would be ignorant and stupid to belive that, if creatures such as these existed, that there wouls not be people hunting them. Through some type of event, SOMEONE would find out and know. And imagine being on the run for eternity. Never fall in love, never have a normal life. Nothing. And there's the matter of blood. Now, whether a vampire has to kill a person or not is beyond me. I've never met one so I can't say for sure. But even if you do not kill a person, I imagine there's quiet a lot of mental battles. After a while, perhaps you'd get used to it, but that's a BIG thing. Most people never think about it, but imagine. What if someone came to you right now and said you could never eat anything else for the rest of your life and you can only drink blood. Now what do you do? Just think about it. In reality, the thought would really sicken practically everyone. Now, I can go on and on and on, but I'll end it there. Perhaps things don't sound so grand, hm? And yet, if you understand all that, I mean REALLY understand it, and can still acept it, then that's all right. God knows how long I've thought about these things. People are how people are. All creatures are how they are. We find a lion killed a gazalle and ripping apart its flesh and eating it raw perfectly fine. "A part of nature," we say. So, then, is this not part of nature?
Maybe it is a silly dream to hope for something to find me, after all, if you lived in this world, if you were one of these "magical creatures" why on earth would you trust a human? Though, I've never given up hope. Maybe someday... The future is full of mysterious things that no one can see. That's why we have these things called "hopes" and "dreams."
Till Next Time

The Beginning
Hello everyone (if anyone is even reading this). I just started this blog for the first time. I've never done a blog before. I actually got the idea watching a House episode and they were talking about blogging. I think it's really interesting having something to write some of my life down.
I recently saw the Alice in Wonderland movie and wow what a movie! I normally do go for actors and such (honestly, I only know like four actors/actresses names), but Jonney Depp is one of my favorite. And the Hatter... *squeal!!!!!!* Truely a masterpeice and work of art! Though, there is one thing I don't understand. I see it time and time again in hundreds of movies and books alike. Someone stumbles across an AMAZING world with AMAZING people in it; a world full of magic and mystery; things that I DREAM of, but then, at the end, THEY LEAVE! Why on earth would anyone leave?? I don't understand it! There's always the excuse of "oh, I have my beloved family and friends at home" and yaddah, yaddah, yaddah but I don't think that would cut it. If I would some amazing world beyond this one, I WOULD STAY! Absolutely, no questions asked. Even with that sense of danger and fighting on with my life on the line, I would stay. When you dream about these things as much as I do, it would really make no sense why anyone would leave. *sigh*
